Streamlined eCommerce Checkout
We are gradually rolling out a more streamlined checkout process for our ecommerce clients. Notably, removing the final confirmation page, which will only display if an order is not placed successfully.
Improved Fraud Detection
We've added more mitigations to our Braintree, (PayPal) gateway, which blocks a majority of spam and fraud credit card transactions.
Adding Files Attachments to Order Fulfillment Emails
When fulfilling an order in VSM, you can now add a file attachment to the order, which will be sent out once the tracking number is set.
Test Send Order Emails in eCommerce
You can now use the "Test send" button to send yourself an order email (used for tracking updates, order confirmation, etc.). To send a test email:
- In VSM, click "eCommerce > Store" on the sidebar
- Under the Store banner, click "Edit Info"
- In the pop up, click the blue edit icon under a location
- In the dialog box, you can select and edit a template, and test send it by clicking "Send Test"
Image Optimization
Images have been compressed to save storage size and network bandwidth, while still preserving image quality.
