Google's New Mobile Update will affect your ranking

The day has come and gone. As of April 21, 2015 Google has instituted a major change in how it ranks sites for mobile devices. 

If your site is not mobile responsive it will be significantly downgraded for searches performed on phones and tablets. For most of our clients this amounts to between 20% and 40% of their organic traffic. This could result in a nearly complete loss of this traffic!

Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. What's with all the spam?

Spammers are on a rampage!  On April 29th, we saw some 65,000 blocked spam messages on our mail system. Recently we have seen something like 24,000 such messages per day!

Our efforts and investment in Firewalls and a dedicated Purpose-Built Spam Blocking Server with an Annual Service Subscription have enabled us to block nearly 3 times the amount of spam without stopping valid emails. Unavoidably, some more spam messages will get through our gauntlet!
